Cheetah Mobile Inc., internet company mobile a leader with a strong global vision, hosted the 2018 CM Global Designer Meetup at Cheetah Mobile’s headquarters in Beijing. This activity is a form of appreciation to the best designer at CM Design, a platformopen platform that encourages third-party designers to earn money by designing downloadable themes for CM Launcher and Cheetah Keyboard. Nearly 100 designers from 10 countries attended this event, they listened to comments from Cheetah Mobile officials, learned more about CM Launcher and Cheetah Keyboard, and received awards for their outstanding achievements in the CM Design platform during 2017.

Nearly 3,000 designers and 100 design studios from 50 countries are currently active in the CM Design platform. Together they designed over 20,000 themes for CM Launcher and Cheetah Keyboard in 2017, with total downloads exceeding 200 million. Individual designers can earn up to $15,000 per month from designing themes for CM Design, and design studios can earn up to $60,000 per month. More than 30 freelance designers have capitalized on their success through this platform to set up their own design studio. Overall, average earnings for designers increased by 40% in 2017.
CM Design provides designers with the opportunity to showcase their work to hundreds of millions of users worldwide. Through this platform, CM Design offers Indonesian designers a complete package, which includes experience, promotions, and income that can be a means of developing careers in the future.
The 2017 ranking of the top 10 individual designers and designer teams was announced at the event, with each winner receiving an impressive prize. Featured designers are judged on the number of themes they produced during the year, the quality of the themes, and the number of downloads of the theme by users.
