After passing the qualifying phase in May-June, finally the group phase for Smartphone IES PUBG Mobile 21 provinces were held. The first week, Groups A, B and C will meet to fight each other for the highest points. They will compete with the scheme that has been determined by Smartfren IES for 9 rounds in 3 Miramar, Erangel and Vikendi maps. What were the results like?

In the first 3 rounds that brought Group A and Group B together, Gorontalo Ilato appeared surprising by buying 2 Chicken Dinners on the Miramar map (10 kills) and also Vikendi (5 kills). While the Erangel map, Jakarta Tiger secured a Chicken Dinner with 12 kills that they were able to pocket. However, this is a homework for participants from other provinces to have to drop Gorontalo Ilato’s position so that their points do not get further and more difficult to pursue.
The match continued for the second 3 rounds that brought together Group B and Group C. This round, Yogyakarta Bregada managed to have a Chicken Dinner and bagged 16 kills on the Vikendi map. Meanwhile, on the Erangel map, it was JABAR WARRIORS’ turn to have a Chicken Dinner with a total of 11 kills. Finally, it was the turn of Jatim Heroes who took the lead on the Chicken Dinner map and pocketed a total of 9 kills. The meeting between Group B and Group C is fairly balanced because each map has its own WWCD representative. Unlike the first 3 rounds where Gorontalo Ilato was dominated by 2 Chicken Dinners. In the last 3 rounds in the first week, it was quite surprising that South Sumatra BKB managed to have a Chicken Dinner on 2 maps at once, both Miramar (9 kills) and Erangel (7 kills). Almost grabbed 3 maps at once, it turns out that in the Vikendi Sumsel map BKB fell in 3rd position and gave up Chicken Dinner for West Kalimantan Equator with a total of 10 kills. Sumsel BKB’s appearance in the last 3 rounds was quite brilliant and really became an exciting dessert at Smartfren IES PUBG Mobile 21 Province.
How about the total points from the first week’s match? From a total of 9 matches this time, it turns out that East Java Heroes lead the standings with a score of 114 points, followed by South Sumatra BKB with 113 points, West Java Warrior with 99 points, West Kalimantan Equator with 93 points and Gorontalo Ilato 92 points.
It’s been a pretty tight first week! Even though there was dominance in several maps, other teams that didn’t get a Chicken Dinner were able to compensate both in terms of position and the number of kills they got. Stability in every match and being able to provide maximum performance, is mandatory in the Battle Royale game.
