Crash Bandicoot: On the Run has Revealed its Release Date

After looking for a beta tester early last September, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run looks like it’s ready to release in the near future. Pre-orders for this game can already be found on Apple’s App Store, complete with a release date, March 25, 2021.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run (Crash: OtR) itself first entered the public eye in the form of advertisements on Facebook. At that time, the game was simply called Crash Bandicoot Mobile and was developed by King, the developer behind Candy Crush. Activision and King then announced Crash: OtR officially for iOS and Android to a warm reception from fans of the series.

Even though the release date has been “announced”, it is still subject to change especially with the amount of time remaining before the game releases. With the current conditions, it is not uncommon for a game developer to announce a delay in the release of their game. But the fact is that the game’s release date is listed on its App Store page, and on the King developer page.

In Crash: OtR players will run and slide across Wumpa Island which is full of various bosses from the Crash Bandicoot series. Players will be able to purchase in-game items such as Barrels, Crates, Piles, Vaults and more.
