Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles Shows Kimetsu Gakuen's Character Roster

Bandai Namco and SEGA have been pushing the promotion of the game Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Chronicles for the past few months. It must be admitted that the strategy they did was quite successful, especially in showing off a roster of new characters that made the game look more interesting. Talking about an interesting roster, the game will also feature six special characters taken from the animated spin-off Kimetsu Gakuen.

The six characters are Tanjiro, Nezuko, Giyu, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Shinobu. The movesets and fighting styles shown by each character are actually not much different from the normal version, but one thing that really sets them apart is the comedy element in their ultimate moves. You can see a collection of screenshots of all the characters below:

The game will be marketed as a standard version at a price of USD 59.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition at a price of USD 69.99. The standard version offers bonus content in the form of a key to unlock the character of Tanjiro Kamado (Kimetsu Gakuen), including purchasing the game at release which will offer keys to unlock two other characters from Kimetsu Gakuen’s version, Tomioka Giyu and Shinobu Kocho. While the Digital Deluxe Edition version offers similar bonuses for the rest of Kimetsu Gakuen’s characters, including exclusive costume sets and access to the game first on October 13th.

There is also a Limited Edition version bundle that already brings all the extra DLC content, but with the addition of cute Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke multi-stand figures that are definitely suitable for display. This version will be marketed at a price of 16,280 yen or around IDR 2 million. You can check more details about the sales bundle HERE.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles itself will be released on October 15. For the platform, this game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
