Digimon Super Rumble Announced, Promotes MMORPG Genre and Unreal Engine Graphics 4
Besides being widely known from anime series to the selection of virtual toy gadgets that are still very popular in the market, Digimon is also proven to still often get game adaptations from time to time. In fact, there are even two new games prepared for him, namely Digimon Survive from Bandai Namco for consoles and PCs and Digimon: New Century from Tencent for mobile. It doesn’t stop there, recently fans were surprised again by the announcement of another new game, this time named Digimon Super Rumble.
Developed by Move Games, a Korean developer, this game carries the MMO genre based on Unreal Engine 4 for maximum graphic quality. The developer claims to take inspiration from Digimon Adventure which is used as the main base in its development, but with original characters and stories that are exclusive to Super Rumble. From the information we got from the forum With the Will, there are some fans who managed to get some screenshots of the game promotion and gameplay trailer which you can see below:
Some of the screenshots above show the setting of the wild world which is quite lively and presented with stunning graphics. Several iconic Digimon such as Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon and not to mention the iconic protagonist Taichi from his childhood version also appear in this game. The trailer footage also provides a clearer picture of the gameplay concept that is carried, and as you can see, this game is quite thick with classic MMORPG elements.
The developer itself has opened registration for the Closed Beta Test which runs for a week starting today until June 15. A total of approximately 3,000 players will be contacted directly if they are selected. In addition, players who are selected to participate in CBT can enter sweepstakes events to win various attractive prizes such as iPads and Digimon Vital Bracelets as well.
For the time being, unfortunately, Digimon Super Rumble has only been released in the Korean region. Then regarding the platform itself, this game is only available on PC, but it is possible that in the future there will be a mobile version.
