FaZe Clan Successfully Comes Out as ESL One New York Champion After Defeating Team Liquid

In the Grand Final round of the ESL One New York 2017 event, the 2 best teams from this tournament, namely a team from North America, Team Liquid, and a team from Europe, FaZe Clan.

This victory means that the FaZe Clan team has won ESL One New York 2 times. Amazingly, the FaZe Clan team won with a landslide score of 3-0 which made them succeed to become champions and win a prize money of $125,000, – or around 1.6 billion Rupiah.

For the first map, namely Inferno, FaZe Clan was able to slaughter Team Liquid without replying in the first half which means 15-0. Finn “karrigan” Andersen played very well in this map and managed to reach a score of 22-6 at the end of the game. FaZe Clan quickly closed this map with a final score of 16-3.

In the second map, namely Overpass, Team Liquid was able to provide a little resistance and closed the score as CT with a score of 4-11 in the first half. When they became Terrorists, they were able to play better, unfortunately when the score was tight at 15-14 for the FaZe Clan team, they were able to end Team Liquid’s struggle thanks to 3 kills from Nikola “NiKo” Kovac which made the score end at 16-14.

In the third map, namely Mirage, the defense and crack action of the FaZe Clan FaZe team are very good and compact so that they can get a score of 11-4 when they become CT. Winning the pistol round allowed the FaZe Clan team to immediately end Team Liquid’s chances and make them win the match without a fight with a final score of 16-4.

With this victory, the FaZe Clan team is back into the top CS:GO team thanks to the arrival of 2 new players, namely Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer and Ladislav “GuardiaN” Ladislav.
