First MDL Season 3 Match Day Schedule, Siren vs Geek Fam Jr
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL) competition will officially start on February 22, 2021. A total of 8 teams will compete on the first Match Day. Siren Esports as the defending champion will face Geek Fam Jr and then Alter Ego X will face Victim Esports. Meanwhile, Evos Icon, which is predicted to be the champion candidate, will face XCN West Bandits, a newcomer team. One more match will pit Aura Esports against Kings Esports.
The MDL tournament has proven to be a path for new talents to pursue a career in the Indonesian Mobile Legends esports scene. As the name implies, as a development platform, several names have finally succeeded in stepping up or advancing to class, being promoted to the main team roster in the grandest MLBB competition in Indonesia, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League (MPL) ID. It’s no wonder that several esports organizations that have not yet been able to enter the main stage of MLBB, have become new challengers in the MDL competition. The three new teams are Dewa United Esports, Kings and RedBull Rebellion.

MDL’s competitive atmosphere has built and forged their character so that they not only have high skills, but also communication, coordination and professionalism. Call it Alberttt and Sanz as real examples of two players who started their career at MDL and then succeeded in the next team. Alberttt is currently officially a member of RRQ Hoshi while Sanz is at Onic Esports. Or, recent examples are Clover and Darkness. After performing impressively in MDL Season 2, both of these seasons have officially entered the Evos Legends roster who will work hard in MPL.
