Free Fire Adds Their First Indian Character

Garena has announced that Hritik Roshan, an Indian superstar, will voice the first Indian character in their popular game, Free Fire.

Hritik’s character Jai will give Free Fire players the opportunity to play as one of their heroes. On the other hand, Jai also brought another side of India to all players around the world.

Jai will have skills Raging Reload, where when he takes down an opponent, the AR, SMG, or pistol he is using will be reloaded automatically for 25% of its maximum amount. This skill will give Jai players a chance to multiple opponents in a row if they stand close together without having to waste time reloading their weapons.

“I’m very happy to be a part of the Free Fire world, and my avatar, Jai, which the Free Fire team has created, is really cool,” said Hrithik Roshan. “I hope all players will enjoy this unique experience.”

Hrithik himself is someone who is known as an actor who Versatile, and has received many awards for it. He has filled leading roles in many of India’s highest-grossing films, such as the series Krrish, War, Super 30, Bang Bang, and others.

This partnership is not the first time Garena has collaborated with celebrities to target certain communities. Previously they had worked with Joe Taslim to voice the Indonesian character, Jota, and with DJ Alok for the Brazilian character, Alok. It’s not hard to imagine Garena doing a partnership like this again in the future.
