Galarian Yamask is Coming to Pokemon GO in its Latest Update
Last week, Niantic announced the Ghost-Type event which will begin on October 25. Today they have released details for this Halloween event which will start from October 23 to November 3.
First of all is the arrival of Galarian Yamask. Yamask which originally only had a Ghost type, is now a Ground/Ghost type in his Galarian form. The arrival of this Spirit Pokemon will be celebrated with the Halloween 2020 Special Research Story, A Spooky Message Unmasked. In this event, players will complete several tasks to help Professor Willow learn Galarian Yamask.
One of the pokemon that will be faced in A Spooky Message Unmasked is Spiritomb. apart from encounter In addition, Spiritomb can also be found by completing certain Field Research tasks with a chance to encounter shiny variations.
Meanwhile, Gengar and Sableye will get the custom they wear during this event. These Gengar variations can be found in Raid Battles, while Sableye variations will appear in the wild or will hatch from eggs.
Of course, because of the upcoming Ghost-Type event, Ghost-type pokemon will be found more often than usual, in Raid – Darkrai will also appear even though it’s not a Ghost-type pokemon, and from eggs. There will also be some Halloween-themed Field Research tasks that will likely provide more encounters against Ghost-type Pokemon.
