Garena Shares Roadmap for International Free Fire Esports Tournament in 2021

Year after year Free Fire has strengthened its position as the most available battle royale game on mobile. This dominance is due to the provision of Esports tournaments that never escape the attention and fierce competition. For 2021, Garena has prepared several international tournaments which have been divided into two editions of Free Fire World Series (FFWS) which will be held in April and November and Free Fire All Stars in July.

The competition roadmap shared by Garena this time further shows their efforts to bring new excitement to the Free Fire community through premium esports competitions. These various international tournaments will showcase the talents of Free Fire players spread all over the world and give them the opportunity to test their skills at the highest level.

FFWS, which is currently the biggest Free Fire esports tournament, will certainly be the event that gets the most attention. After holding screening rounds in several countries this month, the tournament will continue to the Play-in round on April 24 which will then conclude with the Finals in early May. This year’s FFWS is larger in scale and includes competition screening in more regions. This does not include the biggest grand prize of any Free Fire esports tournament with a total grand prize of USD 2 million or around IDR 28 billion more.

As a form of welcoming the tournament in April, Garena has shown a new logo for FFWS. This simple and cool logo features the initials “W” and “S” for “World Series” which seems to symbolize the embers of a torch. The main trophy of the tournament will even carry a design similar to this new logo. More information about FFWS such as tournament schedule, format, and so on will be announced in the near future.

As for Free Fire All Stars, this is a competition that will bring together popular influencers and professional players in a fierce competition in July. This event will certainly be filled with exciting interactions between top fan favorite players and memorable moments. More details about the event will be announced in the next few months.
