ICEEI 2016 Presents the World's Latest Technological Developments to Indonesia

GadgetPlus.ID, Jakarta International Consumer Electronics Expo (ICEEI) 2016 is an event for exhibitors to showcase the latest technology trends such as Drones, VR and many more. This event, which is being held for the first time in Indonesia, takes place at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta and will last for 3 days from September 16-18.

Drones themselves have actually been used in several government agencies in Indonesia such as BMKG, POLRI, LAPAN and LIPI. They themselves use drones to help work more efficiently and accurately.

Not only drones that will be present at ICEEI later, there is also Virtual Reality that is able to make users feel as if they are directly and interacting with a certain object. Smarthome technology will also be present at ICEEI later, such as floor mopping robots, alarm systems, IP cameras, and aromatherapy humidifiers.

ICEEI is here because China sees the economic growth and technology market in Indonesia very rapidly, therefore it is very suitable to hold an event as big as ICEEI here.

Marketing Director of PT Peraga Expo, Paul Kingsen, said that ICEEI 2016 will be held for the first time in Indonesia after previously being successfully held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This consumer electronics exhibition will be attended by approximately 170 companies from China who will present the latest products and technologies.

Even though it will be held for the first time in Indonesia, ICEEI 2016 has received a fairly good response and support from various government institutions and associations such as the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), Gabel Federation, Ginsi, Kadin, Asperapi, and others.

Held for 3 days, ICEEI 2016 also provides an interesting program for visitors, namely a free smartphone raffle that will be held every exhibition day.

“To be able to visit this exhibition, no entry fee is required, you only need to bring a business card or fill out a registration form at the registration counter provided,” said Paul Kingsen.
