Today, fast and reliable connectivity is a very important element. For the first time on platform Any PC, Intel offers Gigabit Wi-Fi capability for ultra-fast connectivity, with the new Intel Pentium Silver and Intel Celeron processors. By using the industry standard 2×2 802.11AC on the 160MHz channel, today’s users have the ability to experience blazing fast network performance – delivering download speeds up to twice as fast as systems using 802.11AC, 12 times faster than systems using 802.11ac. uses 802.11 BGN, and is even faster than wired Gigabit Ethernet connections3,4,7. This allows Intel Gigabit Wi-Fi to provide a fast connection that allows users to use their devices without interruption – streamingand surf the internet faster, collaborate with ease, and even download large files, such as HD movies, in an instant.

In addition, Intel Pentium Silver and Intel Celeron based systems will be able to handle the latest enhanced media files for a great experience for streaming from popular video sites like YouTube* and Netflix*. In this processor, Intel presents a display technology called Local Adaptive Contrast Enhancement (LACE). It is a technology designed to help users see the screen clearly when outdoors in bright light. Intel also equips its latest processors with hardware security for an experience on line faster and more secure, as users expect from Intel products.

The latest processors that Intel is launching today are:
