Joker and Batman Fight in the First Trailer for the Anime Movie "Batman Ninja"
Warner Bros. Japan has just released a super cool premiere trailer of an anime-based animation project entitled Batman Ninja. In this first promo, it is shown that Batman seems to be “stranded” in feudal Japan and is fighting with the Joker.
But uniquely even though he is in the era of samurai and ninja, the Dark Knight can still take advantage of the surrounding situation. He is also still assisted by his loyal companions, Robin and Alfred and Nightwing. Batman’s main enemy, the Joker is also depicted ruling over Japan with the help of Deathstroke, the Penguin, Harley Quinn, Two-Face and Gorilla Grodd.
This anime project is directed by Jumpei Mizusaki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) and the design of this ancient Japanese version of the DC superhero character was left to the creators Afro Samurai, Takashi Okazaki. The script for this film was written by Kazuki Nakashima with the help of Leo Chu and Eric Garcia.
Unfortunately, this Anime film project will not be released to the big screen, but will be distributed directly through home entertainment media (Blu-ray/DVD) next year.
