Marvel's Avengers Game Announces Black Panther: War for Wakanda Expansion

Starting from an ambitious game project with a very large reception, what happened to Marvel’s Avengers is indeed very unfortunate. Since its release, this game has struggled to maintain an active player base and has even caused losses to Square Enix as the official publisher. Luckily they are still committed to supporting the game with the latest content, and coincidentally today’s Square Enix Presents: Spring 2021 event brings new surprises to anticipate.

The surprise was the announcement of its first major expansion, Black Panther: War for Wakanda. The expansion, which is planned to be released in 2021, will take players on the adventure of the Black Panther figure who is ready to undergo a dangerous mission. In addition to playable characters and new story content, the expansion will also feature the figure of Klaw, the setting of the Wakandan Jungle Biome, new enemy types, and much more.

The developers Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix also announced the release of the Marvel’s Avengers game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms. This latest release brings a variety of significant changes ranging from graphics support in 4K and 1440p resolutions on the Xbox Series S, much better loading speeds thanks to SSD technology, graphic effects to more dramatic environmental destruction, as well as the addition of various content updates and new features to enhance play experience.

Along with the game’s release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, players will also get access to new content from the “Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect” update. This latest update presents Clint Barton or Hawkeye as a new playable character. There is new story content that you can dive into in this update that provides a perspective on the story of Hawkeye and his mission in finding Nick Fury to stop the rise of AIM.
