High frame rate is the dream of gamers, especially games first person shooter where accuracy is needed. The main goal is to reduce the blurring effect that occurs when the screen can’t keep up with fast graphic changes. One of them, Call of Duty: Mobile.

Call of Duty: Mobile finally comes with 120 fps. This means that fans can enjoy in-game action games more clearly and smoothly. Right now, Call of Duty: Mobile can only run at 60 fps, which isn’t a problem at all, but 120 fps is definitely better!

Activision just sent an inbox to players announcing that the game has been optimized for 120 fps. However, for the time being 120 fps on Call of Duty: Mobile is only supported by Sony Xperia 5 II devices. Activsion has confirmed that this feature is not exclusive to Sony. So, support for other devices will definitely come as well, but the exact date is uncertain.

Sony Xperia is the main sponsor of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 which will be held this December with a prize pool of US$1 million. So it’s only natural that this device is given early access. The CODM World Championship players who made it through to the final round will compete using a Sony Xperia 5 II with 120 FPS support.

For those of you who don’t have a Sony Xperia 5 II, don’t worry. Surely this support will be present on other devices that have 120 Hz screens such as ROG Phone II and III, Lenovo Legion Phone, Samsung Galaxy S20, and One Plus. It’s just that, you need to be patient waiting for the announcement from Activision.
