Mortal Kombat Movie Showcases New Poster, Shows Joe Taslim As Sub-Zero!

Warner Bros. Pictures is currently in the mature stage of preparation for the screening of the latest Mortal Kombat film. This “reboot” film is indeed very special because apart from being produced with the best quality so far, there are also Indonesian actors who play one of the main characters in the film. The actor is none other than Joe Taslim, where he plays a cool fighter with Sub-Zero’s icy powers.

One of the most iconic characters from the Mortal Kombat franchise as well as Scorpion’s rival is a role that is very suitable for Joe Taslim. This becomes more obvious when the marketing released the latest Mortal Kombat movie poster which shows off the figure of Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero. Instead of being curious, you can see the appearance of the poster in animated form below:

Even though it only shows half of the character’s form, we can see the costume design and the cold aura emitted by Sub-Zero. The glowing blue eyes that are very iconic with the character figure look very fitting with Joe Taslim. In addition to Sub-Zero, the official Mortal Kombat Movie Twitter account also showcases posters of other characters such as Kano, Mileena, to Kung Lao which you can see below:

Can’t wait for the movie? Mortal Kombat Reboot is slated to hit theaters and HBO Max on April 16. The film, directed by Simon McQuoid, will return to show its new trailer on Thursday tomorrow. Hopefully we will be presented with cool actions in the trailer, including how Joe Taslim plays Sub-Zero for real.
