SEGA Will Bring Valkyria Chronicles to Switch

In June, Sega announced that the Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 would be released in both physical and digital form. Sega has confirmed that the original Valkyria Chronicles will be available on Nintendo systems on October 16 for around $20, or $15. Players who have Valkyria Chronicles 4 in their Switch library will get $5 off the $19.99 Valkyria Chronicles eShop price.

For gamers, this will be the first opportunity to play the classic Valkyria game on the go. VC2 and VC3 are only available on PSP, Valkyria Revolution is portable only on PS Vita, and Valkyria Chronicles D is a browser-based and mobile game with very different mechanics. Keep in mind that this is not a remastered edition from 2016, so you may not be able to enjoy the luxurious visuals.

Are you excited to hear that not one but two Valkyria Chronicles games are on their way to the Switch? Will you be playing this release in the coming months? Have you played it before? What if you’ve never played the original and want to brush up on a WWII-based strategy? Don’t worry, everything has been prepared for it.
