Team Liquid Successfully Entered Mykonos ESG Tour Grand Final After Defeating SK Gaming

Team Liquid made it to the Grand Final round after defeating the SK Gaming team which is the best CS:GO team at the moment in the Semi Final round of the ESG Tour Mykonos event.

The Semi-Finals between Team Liquid and SK Gaming began on the Inferno map with Team Liquid playing the terrorists. Team Liquid managed to secure the Pistol Round and left the SK Gaming team behind with a score of 5-1. After the SK Gaming team seemed to start building momentum after they managed to get their second round, however, Josh “jdm64” Marzano from Team Liquid managed to make 4 kills and destroyed the momentum of the SK Gaming team.

The SK Gaming team managed to keep up with Team Liquid until the first half ended with a score of 9-6 for Team Liquid. Unfortunately in the second round, the SK Gaming team lost again in the Pistol Round after Nick “nitr0” Cannella managed to get 3 kills. Then the SK Gaming team started to build momentum with Fernando “fer” Alvarenga managed to do Clutch 1 vs 4 and Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo also managed to Clutch 1 vs 3 and made the score tight, namely 13-12 for Team Liquid. But Team Liquid managed to get up and didn’t give the SK Gaming team a chance to retaliate. The first map ended with Team Liquid winning with a final score of 16-12.

The second map fell on with yet another Team Liquid victory in the Pistol Round when they became CT. The SK Gaming team tried to get up and managed to win 2 rounds in a row and put them ahead of Team Liquid, but unfortunately they had to admit that Team Liquid’s game at CT was very good and had to lose in the first half with a score of 10-5. Finally the SK Gaming team managed to win 3 consecutive rounds in the second half, but Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski managed to stop the SK Gaming team’s progress by making 3 kills and making the temporary position 11-8 for Team Liquid. Tried to retaliate, but the SK Gaming team could not do much against Team Liquid’s game which was very neat and made them have to admit their prowess with a final score of 16-10.
