Undawn - The Latest Open-World Survival Game from Tencent and Dev. PUBG Mobile

Last week, Tencent Games and the team of developers working on PUBG Mobile brought great news with the announcement of a new game titled Undawn. This game carries the open-world survival genre that invites players to work together to survive in a world full of threats from zombies and other human groups.

The concept is quite marketable, but what attracts the most attention is the open-world setting that always has the potential to be explored. If serious, the developer could create an open-world map full of natural diversity, locations, dangers that lurk around every corner, to secrets to find. Especially considering that this game was developed by the PUBG Mobile development team, they at least have experience in concocting games with a wide map.

Rick Li as Executive Producer of Lightspeed & Quantum Studios said that they wanted to create a new action game that combines the freedom of open-world with RPG elements. The development of this game for both PC and mobile platforms is their target to bring more harmonious cooperation among the community, including reaching more new players all over the world.

Undawn itself was built with a gameplay focus that combines PvP and PvE for a more different survival experience. To do so, players must collect resources, make equipment and weapons that help them survive, and battle against zombies, monsters, and other living humans from other groups of survivors.

In order to become the most domineering survivor, players must work together to build their own base, make transactions, and carry out resource search missions from places that are no longer inhabited. From a technical point of view this game also sounds quite promising because its base uses Unreal Engine 4.

When is the Game Released?
