Reasons Nintendo Stops Production of 3DS

Until this article was published, the Nintendo US site no longer displays information from any handheld console. While the Nintendo UK site still has a page that displays the complete Nintendo 3DS family. But on the Nintendo UK site it displays the announcement ‘production of the Nintendo 3DS family system has ended’. This also happened to Nintendo Japan which showed an announcement that the Nintendo 3DS series had been discontinued.

Before the Nintendo 3DS was completely discontinued, Nintendo had also stopped the Wii service in Japan in March 2021. In addition, some people have also predicted that Nintendo will end production of this 3DS family. Many people think that the position of the 3DS has now been replaced by the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch is now a very selling handheld console, Nintendo is even increasing the production of the Switch to meet market demand.
