Update 1.5 Genshin Impact has finally arrived, what are the most interesting new content?

The Monsdtadt festival celebration has finally ended and now Genshin Impact is entering a new season that is no less interesting in Update 1.5. Named Beneith the Light of Jadeite, this update brings a variety of new content that is guaranteed to keep players busy at least until Update 1.6 and beyond.

In this article we will provide a brief summary of any new content that might catch your eye, especially from curious players who haven’t logged into the game for a long time. Without further ado, here is the summary!

Rerun Zhongli and the Presence of 2 New Characters

The character is one of the main stars that makes Genshin Impact so much liked by fans, and for Update 1.5 players can get a popular character who just returned for the second banner rerun, namely Zhongli. Because its popularity is still very strong and even increasing, Zhongli’s banner this time is predicted to invite many players to spend their Primogem/Fate, both for those who haven’t got the character or those who want to improve Constellation.

Zhongli is not alone, because there are two new characters that are present in Update 1.5, namely Yanfei and Eula. Coincidentally, Yanfei, who is a 4-Star character who uses Catalyst and Pyro element, is already present on the same banner as Zhongli, so interested players can get it right away from now on. While Eula, who is a 5-Star character who uses Claymore and a new Cryo element, will follow in the next banner which is still about two weeks away.

Zhongli’s Second Story Quest and New Boss Challenge

The story that focuses on Zhongli that brings players into a clearer picture of Liyue’s history is finally back. From now on, the Story Quest for Historia Antique Chapter – Act II: No Mere Stone can be accessed by players using three special keys to unlock the mission. As usual, players have to complete eight Daily Commissions to get one key or about six days to get the three keys needed.

Two new formidable enemies can also be found in this update, waiting for adventurers to fight. As the fourth boss of Domain Trounce, “Lord of Vishaps” Azhdaha offers rare rewards every week for each player who successfully conquers his fierce attacks, mastery of various elements, and ability to change the battlefield. Cryo Hypostasis will be added as a new Boss in the Dragonspine area. Just like other Hypostasis foes, Cryo Hypostasis has a unique attack pattern and provides a variety of valuable resources when defeated, including materials to strengthen the character.

New Hangout Event with Noelle and Diona

The excitement of the Hangout event continues, where players can now access Act II – Knightly Exam Prep from the Hangout event with Noelle. Meanwhile, another character that can be invited to spend time together is the famous bartender Cat’s Tail, Diona. As usual, the course of this event is presented like a Visual Novel game that has a branching storyline and a different ending.

For one character, at least 2 similar keys are needed to open Story Quests, so make sure to do Daily Commissions often because the number of Story Quests in Genshin Impact has increased, especially from this additional Hangout event.

The Sims . House Building System

The new content that caught our attention the most from Update 1.5 is definitely the addition of the Serenitea Pot. Created by Adeptus Liyue, this special teapot has a dimension of its own within, where players can build and decorate it however they wish. Inside the teapot, there are various types of houses and natural forms, each with an adequate area to be used as a place for outdoor and indoor recreation. A very interesting new system indeed, and certainly suitable as a fun side activity while players have nothing else to do in the game (especially those who only log in to complete Daily Commissions or spend Resin).
