WildStar Closes Soon, Carbine Prepares Special Event

Some time ago, NCSoft announced that they closed one of its subsidiaries, namely Carbine Studio. This resulted in his dismissal games what they have developed is WildStar, an MMORPG that has been operating since June 2014. Now, Carbine has announced that WildStar will cease operations on November 28, 2018. However, as a “farewell gift”, they will be launching a number of in-game events interesting that can be enjoyed by the players.

The following is the schedule and information regarding in-game events which will be held starting in October:

• September 26 – November 28: Double XP, Glory Days, Power, Prestige, and PvP!, and Blessing of Essence events will last until closing.
• October 12 – 19: Residential Renovation, with Battle Chase collection as a gift.
• October 19 – November 2: Shade’s Eve, events Halloween themed game tasking players with defeating Jack Shade.
• November 9 – 23: Protostar’s Gala Winterfest Extravaganza, where players can go shopping at the SuperMall-in-the-Sky.
• November 24 – 27: Hoverboard zPrix Invitational, where players can enter races wearing hoverboard.
• November 28: events closure (details unknown).

Along with this announcement, Carbine Studios released updates the latter which makes all game content easier to access. Past updates In this case, Protobuck (original currency in WildStar) will be converted to currency in-game namely OmniBits, and can be used to buy everything items found in shop. Not only that, drop rate as well as stamp OmniBits has been upgraded so players can get all items available in the game more easily.
