Wishlist 5 Skin Line / Event For Wild Rift
Wild Rift will be getting a K/DA event – which will also be its first event – in the near future, along with other Riot games also set in the world of Runeterra. That’s why today we’re going to discuss five events that might be coming to Wild Rift. All of these choices are the opinion of the author. Before that, as usual, we will provide the criteria:
- Events for the most popular skin lines will not be counted. This is because Riot quotes Certain will bring the skin line into the Wild Rift, and will most likely coincide with an event to increase sales. The skin lines in this category are: K/DA, PROJECT, and Star Guardian.
- Skin line that doesn’t come from events that just took place in the last few months in League of Legends. Most likely Riot doesn’t want to hold the same event two years in a row. Skin lines that are not counted for this category are: Psyops, Event Horizon (Cosmic and Dark Star), Pulsefire, Spirit Blossom, Mecha Kingdoms, and again K/DA.
- Finally, the skin line that is included in this list must have several champions already in Wild Rift. More champions would be great as this would give teams at Riot additional options in choosing their skin line and events.
Here’s the event/skin-line prediction for Wild Rift in the future:
Infernal
The infernal skin line is pretty easy to explain: Ashen Lord Aurelion Sol destroys and burns the world. So far there are 7 champions in Wild Rift who have skins in this series, and two skins have entered the Wild Rift. The characters in this skin line are fire and lava themed, such as the ‘Infernal’ fire creatures or the characters fighting them from the ‘Shadowfire Temple’.
Pool Party
Even the champions want to be able to play in the pool and on the beach! This skin line has many skins, and in Wild Rift there are 7 champions in this series. Unfortunately, there are no Pool Party skins in Wild Rift so far. Obviously this skin line will give a lot of water and even sand themes to reflect the beach. The champion weapons in this skin line are also turned into toys, such as the Fiora rapier or Miss Fortune rifle.
High Noon Gothic
The High Noon Gothic series brings the world of cowboys and the desert to League of Legends. The main attraction of this skin apart from the cowboy theme is how cool the champions in this series are. The new skins from this series are even more encouraging cool factor this, by introducing demons and angels with the same color scheme, but with shining eyes and striking effect particles. Meanwhile, Wild Rift has three High Noon Gothic skins, with a total of 6 champions who have skins from this series.
Immortal Journey
After the skin line that took from the western culture, we go to the east with the world of Immortal Journey. Although the names of the skins in this series do not have the name Immortal Journey, this skin line has a consistent theme where gods, demigod, or ordinary people wielding powerful weapons. There are now 5 champions in this skin line in Wild Rift, and all of them are already in the game. Examples are the God Staff Jax (which is in the game) and the Sacred Sword Janna (which is not yet in the game).
Blood Moon
Lastly is Blood Moon, a skin line centered on the legend of the Ionian region where champions become Ionian demons or Blood Moon worshipers. The skin in this series uses a lot of masks and a blood red color, matching the name of the series. Like the Pool Party series, there is currently no Blood Moon skin in Wild Rift. Of all the champions in Wild Rift, 5 are in this series.
Closing
Those are the 5 events/skin lines that I want to see come to Wild Rift. Which skin would you like to use in Wild Rift?
