XCOM 2 Collection is Coming to Android Next Year

Feral Interactive has revealed in their tweet that the Android version of the XCOM 2 Collection will be out next year. This tactical strategy game from PC and console will release its iOS version next Thursday, but Android users will have to wait even longer to be able to play this game.

A few days ago, a Twitter user by the name of @thegreatmosey expressed his complaints on social media over the exclusivity of this game for iOS. “I would be MUCH happier about this announcement if the game wasn’t exclusive to one platform,” he said. Feral Interactive then stated “There will be an Android version next year, Mosey.”

So that’s the announcement. Like some of its other games, Feral Interactive will release the iOS version first followed by the Android version after a few months or years. An example is XCOM: Enemy Unknown which was initially released as an exclusive game for iOS before appearing on Google Play next year complete with the ‘Enemy Within’ expansion. While the word “next year” doesn’t give a clear idea of when the XCOM 2 Collection will be released on Android, there’s nothing more fans can do but wait for Feral interactive’s next announcement.

The XCOM 2 Collection itself brings all the features of the PC and console versions of this game, including the base game, ‘the War of the Chosen’ expansion, and four DLC packs in one package.
