Blizzard Announces Overwatch's Newest Hero, Sombra

After months of making Overwatch fans curious, Blizzard has finally announced its newest second hero named “Sombra”. This new character joins the first new characters namely Ana and Eichenwald.

Told that the origin of Sombra is a hacker from the Mexican gang Los Muertos, who works with the crime organization Talon with Reaper and Widowmaker. Game play from Sombra is categorized as an offensive character (offense), besides being able to disguise himself with the surrounding environment (stealth) he can also hack his opponent’s skills and health packs.

The main move possessed by Sombra is an EMP beam that can disable the protective shield and opponent’s skills in the surrounding area. In addition to this new hero, Blizzard also released a new map, namely Oasis and Arcade game play which can play 1 vs 1 or 3 vs 3 match types.

The new Sombra and Arcade modes will be available on the Overwatch Public Test Region (PTR) server for PC next week, the official release of which will be announced later. Meanwhile, the newest Oasis map will be released in December. You can see a video of the new Sombra hero below.
