CS:GO Major Championship Spring 2021 Tournament Canceled?


Valve has reportedly canceled plans to host a Major tournament CS:GO for spring 2021. The tournament titled CS:GO Major Championship Spring 2021 was originally scheduled for May 2021. But the event is likely to be canceled due to the reasons for the COVID-19 pandemic which is still not improving.

With the cancellation, big tournaments from games that are shaded by Valve such as CS:GO and Dota 2 also still pending. In 2021 Valve has canceled their offline tournaments such as ESL One Rio 2021 for CS:GO and The International 2021 for Dota 2.

Until now, Valve has not provided detailed information regarding plans for international tournaments for the game. Even though the audience and professional players were already waiting. Due to the lack of tournaments that Valve holds, players are enthusiastic about it CS:GO in the world is decreasing.

We’ll see what Valve’s next plan will be. Developers of games in the world have also started planning to create offline tournaments. Even Riot Games as a game developer League of Legends successfully held the 2021 World Championship tournament last October in China.
