Chen 'Hao' Zhihao Becomes a Reserve Player for Team Newbee at the Boston Major

Veteran player Chen “Hao” Zhihao is known to be registered on the ‘Valve registration roster’ as a reserve player for Team Newbee for the upcoming Boston Major tournament. It is not yet known which roster Hao will replace in the future.

Maybe he will be the main player if one of the roster is unable to attend the Boston Major, the thing that often happens is usually a visa licensing problem. Hao’s return to Newbee gave a little hope for this TI4 winning team, because after the TI6 shuffle they lost three main players namely Chen ‘Hao’ Zhihao, Zhang ‘Mu’ Pan and Wong ‘ChuaN’ Hock Chuan.

Luckily, Newbee currently has two talented young players, namely Xu ‘uuu9’ Han and Song ‘Sccc’ Chun. Since TI6 shuffle Hao became an inactive member of Newbee, once in a statement he revealed that he would take a break from playing Dota 2 for 6 months or maybe retire forever.

The last tournament that Hao participated in was TI6, where Newbee at that time was ranked 9-12. Besides Newbee, other teams that Hao has defended are Tyloo in 2011, Tongfu at TI3 and Vici Gaming in 2015.
