Wattson is the Latest Legend?

Wattson is the newest Legendary to come for a second season, and as expected he has electric power. His tactical prowess creates a mobile laser barrier to block areas that teammates can pass through. It benefits players who really know the map and can be used in a variety of ways, perhaps to trap players outside the safe area or defend buildings that players ‘camp’. Players may place 12 nodes at a time wherever they wish. The Ulcer is basically a trophy from Call of Duty that destroys incoming projectiles like hand bombs, and if the player is within its radius, tactical prowess will charge faster.

Finally, Wattson’s passive means any Ultimate Accelerants are used to instantly recharge his Ultimate to 100%. If the player accumulates Ultimate Accelerants during the match, the player can put an electric fence and have a serious advantage to the tail end of the match.

Crypto is flirting with you in a trailer?

Apex Legends Crypto is another legend that’s rumored to be coming to Season 2, and he’s been teasing in the trailer that was leaked before the season launches. His name suggests he’ll be a tamer and it’s evident in the cinematic trailer when he launches an EMP attack and destroys the towers in Repulsor, allowing all leviathans and tracts to attack King’s Canyon and causing some map changes in Apex Legends.

L-STAR is a new power weapon

Also present in this second season, plasma weapons are given the name L-Start which is exclusive to guard packages such as the Mastiff and Kraber. It is an automatic weapon that shoots fast and destroys doors. L-Star was first seen in Titanfall 2 and now in Apex Legends.

Daily and weekly challenges give players more missions

Respawn said Season 2 will feature more complex battle runs with daily and weekly challenges, and today lead release manager Lee Horn explained exactly how they’ll work.

Each player will be given three daily challenges, randomly selected from a pool of over 200, which they aim to achieve in a short single game session, such as dealing with certain damage in certain locations, or playing the game as a specific character. The weekly challenges, acquired at a seven-week rate, are more difficult and will (probably) take several sessions to complete: Loot 100 Epic items, get 20 deaths as a Gibraltar, stuff like that. The daily challenges are reset every day but the weekly challenges will still apply.

In addition to the fixed daily and weekly challenges, there are also three “weekly resetting challenges” that will reset each week whether you have completed or not:

Weapon Buff is coming for the meta, including Mozambique

Some weapon geeks will make their way into the game during Apex Legends Season 2, even if they don’t know what they want. However, Mozambique’s famed – the most dazzling weapon of any video game – will be inundated through the use of hop-ups, which should “make it doable”.

Players who purchase the premium version will be able to obtain five Legend items when they rank from 1 to 100 with “a balance of exclusive beauty and great cosmetics for everyone (like weapon skins)”. The final Legend Reward will be a weapon skin that evolves with the variant repeating at stage 110. This pass will include 1,200 Metal Crafts (replacing a new sound line), which is enough to create another Legend of your own choosing.
