High School Student Arrested For Threatening To Blow Up Konami HQ
High School Student Arrested For Threatening To Blow Up Konami HQ – A student was arrested. He is rumored to be blowing up Konami’s headquarters.
In other countries, a small threat may not be a problem. But it’s different if you make a threat in Japan. No matter how small the threat you make or how big the impact is, it will become serious. This is what recently experienced by a high school student in Japan.
This 16 year old student posted a threat on playstore who said that he was going to blow up Konami’s headquarters. According to Kotaku, this student was furious because he lost his connection to the PES Mobile game he was playing. As a result of this, the police in Japan conducted a search and tracking which caused him to be arrested.
Konami Blast Threat
Choosing not to voice his problems on the game’s online forum, this student left a threatening review on the PlayStore that read:
“I’m going to blow up Konami’s headquarters, and I’m going to kill the people who work at Konami”
As a result of what he said on the PlayStore, it seems that he will only be picked up without being given any punishment considering he is only 16 years old. But there is a possibility that he will receive a strong reprimand for the threat.
Japan seems to be taking seriously any dangerous threat. Especially after Kyoto Animation Studio’s arson case last year. This was the worst case in which there was a significant death toll with 36 people killed and 34 taken to hospital with burns and lung injuries from the smoke.
Previously, Square Enix had also received threats of arson from a 40-year-old suspect, a player who was dissatisfied and wanted his money back. He blatantly threatened to burn Square Enix like what happened to Kyoto Animation Studio. As a result of this threat, he was arrested by the police.
