[#LoL10th] Legends of Runeterra's exclusive gameplay reveals solid strategy card play with your favorite Champions!

In conjunction with the 10th anniversaryLeague of Legends“, apart from closed demos “League of Legends: Wild Rift“, Riot also provides a new game demo”Legends of Runeterra“. Legends of Runeterra is a new digital card game where players can see the whole world League of Legends, and brought a lot Champion iconic in a new way. A very interesting concept indeed. Here are some things I learned after playing Legends of Runeterra and here I want to share with you all.

The deck consists of 40 cards, and players may take one or two decks of six regions, and displays so that six Champions. This allows for amazing variety if you design a certain strategy, and take advantage of the combined abilities of various Champion and region to build their own strengths.

Players take turns to attack and defend in round-based combat Runeterra. At the start of a turn: set a strategy, increase the offensive, add defense, or maintain mana to use in the next round. When both sides are ready, the battle begins, with the attacker laying down units while the defending player uses cards to block.

With each spin, players will unlock additional mana crystals, allowing them to play more powerful units and spells. After one round is complete, the defeated unit will be removed from the game. The mana tray can be used for new units to help you get ready for the next round, but it can also be saved for spells in the next turn.

Nexus (the crystal that becomes the player’s HP) only has 20 HP, which means the initial attack of a powerful deck like Ionian can let you see the loss screen in just a few rounds. While it’s not impossible to wait for your deck to become strong or in other words – late game, the vulnerability of Nexus means that some half-matches don’t require a long-term strategy. Regardless, you can check out our gameplay below:

Legends of Runeterra expected to be officially out for the platform PC, iOS and Android in 2021, and friends who have taken part in pre-registration can get Moonstruck Poro exclusively after the game is officially launched. Pre-register on PC and Google Play Store in Legends website of Runeterra.
