Luminosity Gaming Team Becomes The Last Professional Team To Participate In The PUBG Tournament
The Luminosity Gaming team became the last professional team to claim to be participating in the first PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds tournament at the gamescom event on 23-26 August 2017 in Cologne, Germany.
This means that in the PUBG tournament there will be 4 professional teams participating, namely TSM, Cloud9, Team Liquid, and the last one is Luminosity Gaming. The Luminosity Gaming team will be strengthened by Tyler “Ninja” Blevins who is a pro Halo player and also a Twitch streamer, Cedrik “Drassel” Lessard, Hogne “Chipzy” Krogsæther, and Justin “JP2” Pate. This team has also competed for the Luminosity Gaming team for the game H1Z1: King of the Kill.
Later this tournament format will run for 4 days with various game modes such as Solo Mode, Duo Mode, Duo FPP (First Person Perspective), and Squad Mode. The player with the highest score during this event will be the winner of this tournament.
PUBG matches will be broadcast via Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, Mixer, and Twitter starting at 21:00 WIB every day. Then announcements about participants, distribution of prizes, and much more will be announced further by ESL and also Bluehole.
Now players from the PUBG game are said to have passed 500 thousand active players on Steam and reached 60 million hours watched by gamers via Twitch in July. Seeing the number of players who have reached a very large number in a short time and also the entry of PUBG into the E-Sports event, it seems that this game can develop even further.
The PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Tournament which will take place on 23-26 August 2017 in Cologne, Germany. The total prize that will be up for grabs in this event is not kidding, which is $350,000.
