Resident Evil Village Apparently Presents Cooking Features

We managed to get the latest details again while waiting for the release of the game. The Resident Evil series is known for its suspenseful and serious atmosphere. The gameplay they offer is full of action which is quite tense. But did you know that in Capcom’s latest game, they present a unique feature that is rarely present in Horror Action games. Like the title we gave, reportedly Resident Evil Village also presents a cooking feature in the game.

The grinding element in the game may have become the main thing to fill activities in a game. Not a few games that elevate this element with various things such as Farming, and Looting. Like a survival game, Grinding will help us to get something new to make things easier during the game. For example, the Crafting Weapon and Armor feature. But what happens if a serious game with a terrible atmosphere turns out to have a cooking feature?

Grinding Elements Like an Open-World Survival Game

That’s right, we get information about this cooking mechanic through the Gameplay Video, one of the Media Game Informer channels. In the video, Resident Evil appears quite spooky as usual. However, on this occasion, they will focus on explaining the Upgrade system in RE Village. This upgrade serves to add buffs from the character and Ethan’s equipment during the game. They show many things starting from Weapon, Health, and Money.

We can use this new currency called “Lei” to buy various items such as Ammunition and Healing Equipment. Not only that, they also present a loot system for various valuable objects that we can sell. Different from Merchant Resident Evil 4, this time we can also sell various objects through a character named The Duke. Not only selling and buying from The Duke, it also provides a kitchen for those of us who want to process various dishes.

Cooking Features In Resident Evil Village Game

The presence of the cooking feature certainly provides new evidence of the existence of the Animal Hunting feature. That’s right, in this game we can hunt various kinds of animals through the game Resident Evil: Village. When hunting, the animal will drop loot in the form of meat. As we already know, the meat can later be reprocessed into ready-to-eat food to provide a new Buff for the main character. In the video, it turns out that we can use this upgrade permanently.

Previously, Capcom had defined Resident Evil: Village as an Open-Wold game. The presence of hunting and cooking features certainly strengthens this evidence. For those of you who can’t wait to try this Resident Evil Village game, this game will reportedly be released on May 7, 2021. Meanwhile, you can play it on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series platforms. What do you think, are you ready to cook in this Resident Evil game?
