Sony patents technology to turn bananas into controllers
The current era of sophisticated technology sometimes makes us amazed and surprised at the same time. Crazy ideas are often shown by technology industry players, including companies engaged in video games. As Sony recently did with its new technology. Of course Sony’s new technology is related to video games, but the idea is quite strange.

Reporting from GamesIndustry.biz, Sony has just patented this new technology. The technology will turn anything into a controller. And uniquely again, in the patent Sony uses bananas as an example.
For how it works, this technology requires a camera to take pictures of the object that will become controller. From the image, this technology will trace the surface to become an input. Therefore the object should not glow. Later, Sony will make games able to recognize objects that are used as objects controller, or developers can configure their games to recognize certain objects as gamepads.

Of course, all patented technology does not end with a commercial product, including this technology from Sony. No one knows if Sony will actually do anything with this technology in the future.
