Sony Rejects Days Gone 2!
Days Gone first launched exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in 2019. But unfortunately, the launch of this game made by Sony Bend Studio did not run smoothly when compared to other Sony exclusive games. Call it like God of War, The Last of Us to Uncharted.
Despite that, Days Gone still has a sizeable fan base around the world. Moreover, this one game is planned to go to the PC platform later this year. Having previously been on the list of games that you can play for free on PlayStation Plus.
Sony rejects Days Gone 2
Despite all that, now there is quite bad news coming from this zombie-survival game. The latest report from Bloomberg says that Sony has rejected the proposal from Days Gone 2 submitted by Bend Studios recently. Sony also diverted Bend Studios to develop the latest series from Uncharted
However, Bend Studios rejected the idea and confirmed that they would not develop a new Uncharted. As we know, there are several reasons why Days Gone 2 was rejected by Sony. First, the launch of Days Gone didn’t go quite smoothly and it brought a lot of problems.
Bend Studios develops new IP
Although over time the game is constantly being improved and starting to get the attention of the fans. Even so, this is quite far when compared to other Sony exclusive games. Sony itself wants to avoid development problems like those experienced by Days Gone in 2019.
There is currently no definite news regarding the fate of the Days Gone franchise itself. Bend Studios has now rejected Sony’s request to be under the auspices of Naughty Dog to develop the Uncharted series. Looks like they will be transferred to a new project that is predicted to be Sony’s new IP.
Most likely this will be a new IP unrelated to Days Gone nor Uncharted. This one game is most likely prepared for the PlayStation 5. What do you think about this? Give your feedback.
