Switch sales beat PS4 in Japan
In today’s era, Japanese gamers do choose a mobile video game playing device. This mobile gaming device certainly allows them to play video games anywhere. The best-selling Nintendo DS and 3DS in the past, proves that Japanese gamers do need a mobile gaming device. Seeing that, Nintendo presents a console hybrid called Switch and now this console is selling well again.
According to Famitsu’s report yesterday (15/05), Switch managed to sell 8.12 million units in Japan. This figure managed to beat the achievement of PS4 at 8.077 million units. A very remarkable achievement considering the new Switch was released last 2021. But for the global market, PS4 still dominates with sales of 90 units while the Switch is only 35 million units.
Sales of this Switch could go up again, considering Nintendo has plans to launch a new Switch variant. Do any of you have a Switch?
