The Evil Geniuses Team Had to Lose 1 Player on the Roster and Their CEO Peter 'ppd' Dager

Now the Dota 2 roster changes are happening in the Evil Geniuses team. The team that wins at The International 5 will lose 1 player in their roster and also their CEO, Peter ‘ppd’ Dager.

After experiencing a bad result at The International 7 by only being able to occupy 8-12 positions because they had to lose to the Newbee team in the Upper Bracket in the first match of the Main Event phase and then in the Lower Bracket they also surprisingly lost to Team Empire by 2-0 score, finally one of their players decided to leave the team.

Ludwig ‘zai’ Wåhlberg who is their number 4 player decided to leave the team and will look for a new team to continue his career as a Dota 2 player. zai is a Swedish player who was part of the EG team at TI 4 when they made it to 3rd place big, but when team EG won at TI 5, he moved to Team Secret, so he has never been a champion of The International. According to the news, it seems likely that Clinton ‘Fear’ Loomis who is the coach of the EG team will step down to replace Zai in the Support position.

Then the news of the cessation of Peter ‘ppd’ Dager as CEO of the Evil Geniuses team has become a reality. ppd who has been the CEO of the EG team since 2016 decided to quit his position and may return to being a pro player. It is still unknown where the player who has won The International 5 with the EG team will go.

The following is the current Evil Geniuses roster:

– Artour ‘Arteezy’ Babaev
– Syed Sumail ‘SumaiL’ Hassan
– Saahil ‘UNiVeRsE’ Arora
– Andreas ‘Cr1t’ Nielsen
