Team Liquid Retains StarLadder i-League Season 3 Title After Defeating Mineski

Team Liquid successfully defended their title in StarLadder i-League Season 3 by defeating SEA team Mineski in the grand final.

The International 7 champion, Team Liquid, managed to show that their team is still the best at the moment by winning the first minor tournament of the new season. From the start of the tournament they managed to progress without any significant difficulties and did not lose 1 match at all.

They met the Mineski team first and managed to win 2-0, then they met the SG E-Sports team which surprisingly was able to beat the Vici Gaming team. But they still can’t be compared to the Miracle team and friends.

Then in the semi-finals they met Team Secret who defeated the host team Natus Vincere to get into the semi-finals. MidOne could not even put up a fight against Team Liquid and they had to accept a 2-0 defeat.

It was only then that Mineski’s team managed to get the first game by surprise. Leading 1-0 Mineski’s team played well and put pressure on Team Liquid in the next match, but Team Luquid was able to play very well and bring things back to 2-1. Until the last match they were able to make Mineski’s team surrender in just 20 minutes.

That way Team Liquid is entitled to a prize of $135,000, – and 150 qualifying points for The International 8.
