ByteDance has been acquiring and diversifying in gaming-related companies for several years now, with Shanghai-based Moonton set to be the latest in their lineup. Mobile Legends, which is popular in SEA, has more than 90 million MAU and almost $1billion in revenue.
This seems to be something interesting for the gaming world, we can see now many builders in China are trying to seize the opportunities that attract the attention of netizens globally. Among the advances from China who are indeed famous and fast are Tencent Games like they are said to have melted more than giant corporations Ali Baba.
