Valve asks the team to adapt to the jump spot bug instead of fixing it

After receiving a complaint regarding the Jump Spot Bug problem at the 2017 PGL Major Krakow tournament, Valve casually stated that players had to adapt to it because they considered the bug to be insignificant.

In the 2017 PGL Major Krakow tournament, the BIG team was the first to use the Jump Spot Bug against FaZe Clan and Cloud9 teams. They managed to get information on the location of the enemy without being noticed by the enemy. This allowed them to play well and be able to win the group stage with a score of 3-0. Although in the end they had to lose in the big 8 round but they managed to get the status of “Legend”.

After getting a complaint about this bug. Valve’s party casually said that why the teams didn’t adapt and avoid places that could be locations for doing Jump Spot Bugs. But this step was taken by Valve after they had discussions with the CS:GO community and also HLTV.

They then concluded not to immediately fix the bug because it was deemed not to provide significant benefits. But the pro teams have found a solution to avoid this problem by making an agreement in advance not to use this bug.

Hopefully Valve can take better steps to solve this problem.
