Zai and Fear Leave the Evil Geniuses Team
Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg and Clinton “Fear” Loomis are no longer on the Evil Geniuses (EG) roster, this is known from Valve’s team registration website. Zai is often in and out of the EG roster, he joined the team in February 2014.
Then in January 2015 Zai left EG to join Team Secret but soon left the world of DOTA2 to finish his studies. Only in August 2015 Zai rejoined EG as a reserve roster, and only officially became a core player in June 2016 to face the TI6 tournament.
While Clinton “Fear” Loomis joined EG in October 2011, he became one of the longest-serving players in a team after Danil “Dendi” Ishutin who played for Natus Vincere’s since 2010 and Luo “Ferrari_430” Feichi who played for Invictus Gaming since August 2011 .
Fear is known as a legendary player who is respected in the DOTA 2 realm, he can play in all positions be it carry, mid and support. All Major championships and four TI tournaments have been passed by him with EG, the peak was when EG managed to become champion at TI5. At TI6 yesterday, EG was ranked 3rd after being defeated by a score of 2-1 by the finalist team Digital Chaos.
