The development of the Webtoon platform that is increasingly competing with the Japanese manga industry through various quality works, now there are many comic series from South Korea that have succeeded in getting bigger expansion. One of those series is none other than Tower of God, which just happened to air its anime adaptation in the spring of last year. It doesn’t stop there, this series will reportedly also get a new mobile game project.

Based on reports that were successfully quoted by the media MMO Culture, they found that developer NGEL Games is reportedly preparing a game adapting Tower of God. This developer happened to have made a similar Webtoon adaptation game project from the title Hero Cantare, and the game ended up getting a positive reception by many fans. The information shared so far is still quite minimal apart from the fact that the game will carry the RPG genre. Seeing how NGEL Games is currently still focusing on other game projects such as the Webtoon adaptation of Wind Breaker and Project Arena, it looks like it will take longer before they are ready to share the next update.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Tower of God, this is a webtoon comic series by SIU which has been serialized since 2010. Thanks to its skyrocketing popularity and solid fan base, this series was finally adapted into an anime by Telecom Animation Film in collaboration with Crunchyroll. This series tells the story of the adventures of Twenty-Fifth Baam in the search for his childhood friend who disappeared after entering the mysterious Tower.
