Allison Road - A very promising successor of Silent Hills' PT
When the Silent Hills game project was announced, Konami presented a teaser entitled TP which was very interesting (and gripping) even though it came with a simple game. And although the production has now been cancelled, the playable teaser was able to inspire a number of individuals who are members of the Lilith Ltd team. to create a similar game that will come with the title Allison Road. Initially they asked gamers for help through the Kickstarter crowdfunding site and showed a teaser of the game they were developing, but now Lilith Ltd. has received full support from the publisher Team17. This makes the cultivation of Allison Road grow rapidly and (possibly) will become an even better game!!
Adopting the gameplay used by PT, here you play as the protagonist who wakes up in a house without remembering what happened. For this reason, gamers must explore every corner of the house to find and examine all clues, so that we can find out what events have happened to the residents of the house – namely your own family – and uncover the mystery that surrounds it. But at the same time, you also have to be aware of the presence of a terrible figure named Lily who hides in the dark and is after your life. Even based on the info, it is possible that gamers can meet another figure named Hana who is no less scary!!
Your task throughout the game (based on the gameplay prototype) is very simple: explore your house and interact with the various objects available for clues. Even gamers can go out and check out the backyard, even if you can’t leave the house completely. Although at first not all rooms can be entered, as time goes on – and the more clues we manage to get – the more rooms open up, allowing gamers to explore further. But it also opens up greater opportunities for the protagonist to meet supernatural beings from the darkness that await you. If that happens, then you must be able to escape from their pursuit because your life is at stake!!
Although it is still in the early stages of development, Allison Road has already shown its potential as a solid survival horror. The further we play, the tense atmosphere at home which is the setting of the main venue will be more pronounced and able to create (at least a little) fear in the hearts of the players. And with the support of Team17, the developer will increase the tension that gamers feel by adding various features that were not previously available in Allison Road.
