Bandai Namco is Working on a New Gundam Game Project

Video game franchise development Gundam there really is no death. Not only did it get a positive response from the release of its newest game, titled Gundam Versus last year, but Bandai Namco also seems to be getting serious about continuing to support this franchise in the future. To maintain the hype from fans, Bandai Namco plans to hold a livestream session titled “Gundam Game New Year Festival 2018” which will be held on January 16, next week.

This livestream session is quite special and must be anticipated, because Bandai Namco confirmed that they will announce the latest Gundam series for consoles. Not many details were leaked apart from the certainty that this game is specifically for home console needs. So it is possible that this latest series will also be released for handhelds. You can access the Youtube link to view the livestream session below.

Bandai Namco plans to also invite several important guests, including Daisuke Sakaguchi, who is the Japanese voice actor for Uso Ewin’s character in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. With this latest project planning, the developer can finally shift focus apart from Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 and ambition to attract more newcomer gamers.

Speculation from some gamers will certainly continue to flow as long as there is no definite confirmation from the developer. But all new answers and surprises will be given by Bandai Namco in the livestream session next week, so for now fans can only wait patiently.
