Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles Game Announces Release Schedule and Limited Edition Version

SEGA today brought a new announcement regarding Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles. This fighting game made by CyberConnect2 has been confirmed to get a global version release which almost coincides with the Japanese region. Based on the latest press release information we got, this game is planned to be available on October 15 and includes a release on the PC platform as well.

The game will be marketed in a standard version at a price of USD 59.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition at a price of USD 69.99. The standard version offers bonus content in the form of a key to unlock the character of Tanjiro Kamado (Kimetsu Gakuen), including purchasing the game at release which will offer keys to unlock two other characters from Kimetsu Gakuen’s version, Tomioka Giyu and Shinobu Kocho. While the Digital Deluxe Edition version offers similar bonuses for the rest of Kimetsu Gakuen’s characters, including exclusive costume sets and access to the game first on October 13th.

There is also a Limited Edition version bundle that already brings all the extra DLC content, but with the addition of cute Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke multi-stand figures that are definitely suitable for display. This version will be marketed at a price of 16,280 yen or around IDR 2 million. You can check more details about the sales bundle HERE.

Looks like the final roster offered only includes humans without any demon races. It’s a strange decision, because throughout the first season of the anime to the movie Mugen Train, there are at least a few antagonists that can be added to the roster. Whether it’s still a secret, being prepared for DLC, or maybe it will just be added to the sequel game, what is clear is that fans can only wait patiently.

So like the information above, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is scheduled for release on October 15. For the platform, this game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
