Dota 2 Asia Championship or DAC 2018 will soon be held in Shanghai, China
After these two weeks we were presented with the Dota 2 GESC Indonesia Minor and DreamLeague Season 9 matches in Stockholm, then at the end of this month, from 29 March to 7 April, gamers will be presented with a 2018 Dota 2 Asia Championship match in the city of Shanghai, China.
This Major class Pro Circuit Tournament will compete for a total prize of 1 million dollars and will be participated by 16 of the world’s top teams. Of the 16 teams, 6 teams were invited directly, namely Team Liquid, Virtus.Pro, Team Secret, Invictus Gaming, Newbee and Vici Gaming.
Interestingly, of the 6 teams that were invited directly, 3 teams came from China.
In addition to the 6 teams, there were also 10 teams that passed the regional qualification, namely:
– TNC Predator and Mineski from the Southeast Asia (SEA) region
– Evil Geniuses, OpTic Gaming and Pain Gaming from the Americas
– OG Redbull and Team Effect from the European/CIS region
– VGJ.Thunder, LGD Gaming and Keen Gaming from China region
In addition to the prize money of 1 million dollars or almost 14 billion rupiah, the participating teams also competed for a total of 1500 DPC points.
