LifeAfter Season 3 is Coming in November

NetEase Games has announced today that Season 3 of their post-apocalypse survival game, LifeAfter, will kick off in November 2020. Season 3 will bring never-before-seen content to all players, including a seamless open world, upgraded zombies, battles air and sea, and so on. All of these new features will revolutionize the LifeAfter survival experience on a large scale.

Smooth Open World

With this update, players will enter the map seamless large where the exploreable area has become twice as large. Transitions between areas will be smooth and natural, giving players the ability to walk through the Fall Forest into the desert, or climb to the top of Mount Snow and then swim to the Island. Of course this journey will not be easy; Players will find all kinds of obstacles and surprises in front of them with more variety from this update.

Starting from the beginning of Season 3, players will be able to find free vehicles throughout the map, from motorbikes, off-road cars, and even helicopters. These vehicles can be used when fighting zombies with friends. Players can also enjoy a new fighting experience as they carve out their way to survival.

Engine Upgrades

Due to the overall LifeAfter engine upgrade in Season 3, the visuals for game scenery, weather changes, and character details will be drastically improved. This upgrade will also bring a more immersive end-of-day environment, and a more realistic combat experience. For the same reason, changing seasons and ecosystems will become more pronounced. In addition, players will be able to participate in building infrastructure, such as dams, roads, and gas stations, to make significant changes to the world of LifeAfter.

Smarter Zombies

Season 3 will bring new obstacles for players. System horde the new one will make the Infected harder to fight. Barbed wire and locked doors probably won’t be enough to stop them, as the Infected will have more ways to interact with their surroundings. Infected will be able to climb, destroy obstacles, and even use the environment around them for camouflage. Fortunately for players, the weapon and profession systems have also been updated, giving players more options when fighting.
