Netease Looter Shooter Survival Game – Badlanders – Now in Open Beta
After being announced late last month, Badlanders, the newest competitive survival looter shooter game from NetEase, has entered Open Beta. In this next phase, Badlanders gets a new female character with customization options. In addition, Halloween activities will also come to Badlanders.
Badlanders has reached 5 million pre-registrations worldwide since September 30. Currently all players can enter the game between October 23 and October 30 for exclusive rewards.
All milestones from pre-registration have been achieved and will be obtained by all players who have registered before. These prizes are one Combat Pack (AK + three-level Armor) in Helmet (AK & LV. 3 Helmet), one Scope Pack set, 8888 in-game Cash, an Exclusive Avatar: Warriors Assemble, and a Reaper T- shirts.
In Badlander, 25 players enter a battlefield to kill and take loot from each other, or slowly collect items from chests scattered across the map. Whatever strategy a player chooses, they must pay attention to other players so they can bring their loot out safely.
The game also features collection and customization of items that players collect, giving players the opportunity to build and design their weapons according to their individual tastes. Players can then bring their homemade weapons into the game but the more powerful the weapons they use, the more other players will want to kill them to get them.
This Open Beta Test does not take place in certain countries, namely Belgium, Taiwan, Vietnam, and China. In addition, the Open Beta in South Korea can only be accessed via iOS.
