Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Showcases Fantastic New 16 Minutes of Gameplay!

Insomniac Games is currently at its greatest success. Especially after joining the official PlayStation family, now the developer is getting more support to mix quality exclusive games. While waiting for the latest sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man which may still take a long time, they have prepared another new game project that is no less interesting, namely Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. As promised by the developer, yesterday they held a presentation session State of Play devoted to showing off the game.

The presentation, which ran for nearly half an hour, shared full details of some of PlayStation’s new games, most of which include the latest gameplay video of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The gameplay video, which lasts up to 16 minutes, shows the gameplay action from the Ratchet and Rivet portions, which not only have missions with different motivations, but also the overall style of play to their unique weapons as well.

Present as a PlayStation 5 exclusive game, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is specially designed to take advantage of the best performance and features of the console. This includes support for Haptic Feedback, Adaptive, Trigger, 3D Audio technology, high-speed loading with an SSD, and of course excellent graphics quality at 4K resolution that supports HDR.

Insomniac also provides detailed content from the Digital Deluxe Edition sales bundle. This edition features five bonus costumes including Imperial, Scavenger, Android, Rebel, and Hacker (2 costumes for Ratchet and 3 costumes for Rivet). Although Ratchet has always been known as the main character in the franchise, this game also seems to be sharing the spotlight equally with Rivet. The State of Play presentation session also brought the announcement of two other games Subnautica: Below Zero and Among Us which will finally be released on PS4 and PS5.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart itself is scheduled to be released on June 11, exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
