Here are the Most Hype Announcements from Today's Nintendo Direct Event!

As if it felt like a very long wait, Nintendo fans around the world were finally surprised by the presence of the event Nintendo Direct latest in February. The event, which was presented at 5 this morning, brought a lot of new game announcements and other hype announcements.

Pyra and Mythra Join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The wait for Xenoblade fans is finally over, where Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will bring characters from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as the latest DLC. However, different from fans’ predictions, it turned out that the characters present were only Pyra and Mythra and not Rex, who was accompanied by the two. This latest DLC will be released in March.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Released on Nintendo Switch

The popular Takeshi fortress coop game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is finally ready for release on Nintendo Switch. The game has been confirmed to be available this summer without a definite release schedule.

Samurai Warriors 5 Announced For Console and PC

Samurai Warriors, which is one of the mainstay musou game franchises for Koei Tecmo and Omega Force, is getting its fifth sequel. Presenting graphics with different art styles, this game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC platforms.

Legend of Mana Get Remaster

The legendary JRPG from the PlayStation Legend of Mana era gets a new release in the HD Remastered version. This latest version offers a variety of new overhauls, including a much smoother graphics quality. The game itself will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 24.

New Mario Golf: Super Rush Spin-off Officially Announced

The Super Mario franchise is back with a new spin-off game, this time through Mario Golf: Super Rush. This exciting Golf game is scheduled to be released on Nintendo Switch on June 25th.

No More Heroes III Announces Fixed Release Schedule

No More Heroes III was also presented in Nintendo Direct this time with a new trailer. In addition to showing cool gameplay, this trailer also provides information about the game’s release schedule which falls on August 27.

The Caligula Effect Gets New Sequel

The popular JRPG series from FuRyu, The Caligula Effect, finally gets a sequel. Comes with a completely new storyline and characters, this game is planned for release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 24th. The new release is devoted to the Japanese region only.

Square Enix Announces Successor to Final Fantasy Tactics

In addition to Legend of Mana HD Remastered, Square Enix also brought a surprise through the announcement of a new game, Project Triangle Strategy. This game, which was developed as a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics, also seems to bring some distinctive elements from Octopath Traveler, especially from the combination of captivating 2D & 3D graphics. Project Triangle Strategy itself is planned to be released in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. There’s also a free demo version that you can download right now on the Nintendo eShop.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection Announced For Console and PC

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection which brings remastered bundles for Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. This bundle also includes all the DLC content that has been released for the games. Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection will be releasing for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 10.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Announced For Nintendo Switch

In accordance with the rumors that had circulated, Nintendo finally officially announced a remastered version for the Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The game itself is planned for an exclusive release for the Nintendo Switch on July 16th.

Splatoon 3 is finally officially announced

As a closing announcement, Nintendo brought a surprise through Splatoon 3 which brought many new overhauls from the previous series, including more creative weapon variations. This game is planned to be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch in 2022.

In addition to the games above, Nintendo Direct also has other surprises such as the new Animal Crossing DLC, a port version for Tales from the Borderlands, a cool frist-person game called Neon White, and many more. You can watch the full presentation in the video below:
