Razer Encourages Environmental Conservation Efforts with Sneki Snek . Mascot
In order to encourage their environmental preservation efforts, Razer as one of the biggest brands in the gaming industry has collaborated with Conservation International through a new campaign. This campaign focuses on protecting millions of trees and preserving the environment, which since the opening of their initial target of 100,000 trees, they have quickly achieved this target thanks to the popularity of the Sneki Snek mascot, which is loved by the community.
As a form of celebration, Razer has pushed their campaign target to save 1 million trees. For every new target achieved, they will sell the latest Sneki Snek merchandise. The mascot, which has been introduced by Razer since last year, immediately received widespread attention from many fans who really liked it. Due to the influence this little snake mascot brings, Razer feels that he is the most suitable mascot to promote their campaign with Conservation International.
As for the new milestones or targets, Razer has divided them into 50,000, 500,000, 750,000, and 1,000,000 trees. With the target increasing thanks to community support, Razer will release new Sneki Snek merchandise to further motivate the community to support this campaign until it reaches the final target. For every Sneki Snek merchandise sold, the buyer has contributed to protect 10 trees.
Together with support from Razer, Conservation International has been working to protect the conservation of many forests scattered around the world ranging from those in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Suriname, Brazil, Madagascar, and Indonesia as well. Conservation International also establishes relationships with people who are familiar with the forest environment to encourage its sustainability.
